One of our clients recently took his wife and daughters on a Disney cruise in the Caribbean.  He had such a great time that he e-mailed us he whole story.

The family flew down to Florida a couple of days before the cruise set sail to spend some time relaxing.  The hotel they stayed in even gave them discounted tickets for a day at Sea World!  The girls loved it.

Our client wrote, “The cruise was a lot of fun and Disney definitely has it all figured out.”  He said that the ship was immaculately clean and well-maintained and that their cabin was comfortable and roomy, even with four people.  The service was excellent and they felt right at home and well taken care of.  He also wrote that the food was very good and drinks did not seem to be too overpriced.

The girls spent a lot of time in the Kid’s Club, which the parents enjoyed because they got to spend time on their own.  Our client and his wife had the chance to head over to Serenity Beach, which is adults only, and is a “great-kept secret.”  His tip is to sign up for the Kid’s Club right away; they didn’t know how it worked and wish they would’ve signed up sooner.

He also wrote that, although the ship was full-to-capacity, there wasn’t any shortage on availability for on-shore excursions such as swimming with sting rays or riding in a glass bottom boat.  The family’s favorite part of the trip was their excursion to the Atlantis Resort for the day to hang out in the large water park.  They liked it so much that they are considering taking a vacation to stay there in the future.

The family did wish that they had more chill-out time, but he said that this trip was for his girls and that being worn out was well-worth the smiles on their faces.  He wrote, “As far as the kids ‘being too old’ or having ‘outgrown’ Disney, there is plenty to do for all ages, including teens and late teens, as Disney has ‘clubs’ for those ages, too with no shortage of participants.”

In closing, our client wrote this message:

“You did a great job and we had an overall excellent time, which is all anyone could ask and hope for!  Thanks for everything you did for us.  In the end, we will definitely do another cruise and it will most likely be with Disney (in two years).  Thanks, again.  I appreciate what you did for us.”
