The recent Four Seasons Preferred Partner Communiqué shared their proud news that sixty-five Four Seasons resorts were named in the most recent issue of Conde Nast magazine as the top hotels in their respective destinations. We thought we would share thier excitement with you:
Each year, Condé Nast Traveler surveys readers on their favourite hotels, cruise ships, and airlines, showcasing top scorers in the Readers’ Choice Awards. Continuing the brand’s commitment to unparalleled service, 65 Four Seasons properties were recognized as Readers’ Choice Award winners – the most of any global hotel brand – including #1 Hawaiian Resort and #1 Hotel in Central Europe. In addition, 11 properties were recognized in the “best of the best” list of the Top 100 Hotels in the World.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts showcased excellence in Hawaii, taking the top four spots on the Top 20 Resorts in Hawaii list. Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu was recognized as the #1 Top Resort in Hawaii, with a score of 95.4. The property features bungalows, villas, suites and seven pools including King’s Pond, a 1.8-million gallon (6.8 millions litre) “aquarium” carved out of the natural lava rock. Rounding out the Top Four Hawaiian Resorts are enchanting upcountry getaway Four Seasons Resort Lanai The Lodge at Koele, ranked #2 Top Resort in Hawaii with a score of 95.3; classical Hawaiian palace resort Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the #3 Top Resort in Hawaii with a score of 94.8; and clifftop Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay, the #4 Top Resort in Hawaii with a score of 94.7. Each Resort offers a unique Hawaiian experience coupled with unrivaled Four Seasons service and amenities.
Across the globe, Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest was recognized as the #1 Top Hotel in Central Europe, topping a list of 35 hotels, as well as #7 in the Top 100 category. A restored historic landmark that combines the luxurious comforts of the 21st century with the elegance of the past, the property features views of the Danube River, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, 179 rooms, 19 suites and a concierge team designed to delight, with incredible experiences such as dinner onstage at the Hungarian State Opera House.
Several recently opened properties were also recognized, including flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto as #14 on the Top 20 Hotels of Eastern Canada list. Four Seasons Hotel Beijing was named #13 and Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai was listed at #28 on the Top 40 Hotels in China list.
This year, Condé Nast Traveler had a record-breaking 79,268 readers participate in the survey, close to double the number of survey takers in 2012. These dedicated and discerning travellers cast 1.3 million votes for more than 16,000 properties around the world. The Readers’ Choice Awards are announced in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler, on newsstands and online now.
