We love to tag our clients as VIPs in hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators! It just feels good to make a birthday or anniversary celebration extra special with an amazing upgrade, a special amenity, and extra care—it makes the memory sweeter! One of the top benefits with our affiliation with Virtuoso is the ability to offer VIP status and perks to our valued clients. The Virtuoso Voyager Club is one of the best added amenities we offer our travelers!
Virtuoso Voyager Club offers extra special amenities on select sailings with our cruise line partners. On Voyager Club sailings, our guests will experience a private cocktail reception, a dedicated travel Virtuoso host, and, most importantly, a unique, complimentary shore excursion that will knock you socks off. Voyager Club sailings are offered on over 400 departures on eight cruise lines—so there are many options to choose from! For example, on the Azamara Quest in Kotor, Montenegro, our Virtuoso travelers will receive the following complimentary excursion:
The day begins with a private walking tour of Kotor—hometown of the famous sailors and traders of Boka Bay. The Old City is a well-preserved urbanization typical of the Middle Ages (between 12th and 14th centuries). Our Virtuoso travelers will visit the Cathedral of St. Trifun as well as the Maritime Museum where they can admire portraits of famous captains, discover models of old galleys and sail boats and other valuables of the rich heritage of Kotor. At the Museum, our travelers will be treated with an exclusive guided tour with the museum’s curator. On the private baroque terrace (and with a glass of wine), our travelers will listen to the curator’s stories about the successes of the famous Kotor sailors and ship builders of the long gone glorious days. Afterwards, our guests will drive along the coast towards Budva—one of the oldest settlements of the Balkans. According to Greek mythology, Cadmo, the son of the Phoenician King Agenon, established Budva. Their guide will take them on a walk around the 15th century ramparts and fortifications and experience the narrow streets and squares in this medieval city. Our travelers will then head to nearby Sveti Stefan—with its spectacular views and enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Sveti Stefan’s most charming restaurants overlooking the Adriatic.
On Seabourn’s South American Itinerary on the Quest, Virtuoso Voyager Club guests will experience a private tour of Montevideo in Uruguay and enjoy a wine tasting and a typical Asado lunch accompanied by a folkloric show featuring traditional music and dance.
In New Zealand on the Crystal Symphony, Virtuoso Voyager Club guests will experience a leisurely scenic tour of Wellington and experience the dramatic view of the city from Mount Victoria before heading to a New Zealand style lunch with local wines at the city’s finest restaurants, Boulcott Street Bistro.
On the Compagnie du Ponant Le Soleal, our Virtuoso Voyager Club travelers will experience Punta Arenas, capital of the Magellanic and Antarctic Region and Patagonia’s most important city. The day begins with a visit to the Otway Bay Penguin Reserve where their foundation has been in charge of the bay’s environmental management and have increased the dwindling penguin population dramatically. With their expert guide, they will take a leisurely walk along the wooden trail and have the opportunity for close-up photos of these friendly and photogenic birds. Afterwards our travelers will enjoy an exclusive tasting menu prepared for our group in one of the best restaurants of the region. After lunch, our travelers will have a bit of shopping and exploring free time before returning to the ship.
These are just a few of the Virtuoso Voyager Club offerings in the coming months–remember you have over 400 sailings on eight cruise lines to choose from!! If you are looking for VIP service and an exclusive experience, be sure to ask one of our experienced advisors for a Voyager Club Sailing. These exclusive experiences are only available through Virtuoso travel advisors—they will make the difference between a vacation and a fabulous adventure!
